Technical Support Crew

The Technical Support Team are an essential part of the Entertainment Team, providing support to in house and external shows alike. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in a range of roles whilst being supported to develop into a specialist area

Key responsibilities:

• Lifting and carrying equipment and sets 
• Assisting with the set-up of scenery, props, musical equipment and backline (band)
• Liaising with visiting artistes and safeguarding equipment and performers
• Basic set up of sound, lighting and multi-media systems
• Operation of follow spots and technical entertainment systems
• Health and Safety (stage and backstage areas)
• Carry out basic levels of maintenance

• Have a problem-solving attitude, working on own initiative as necessary
• Have basic knowledge of technical procedures, systems and working backstage
