People Team Assistant

We are looking for a People Team Assistant to join our People team here at Butlin’s

About the role: 

‘Give Our Guests A Great Time, With Memories That Last A Lifetime’, that’s our mission at Butlin’s and our team of 5,000 are critical to making this happen, which makes your role as People Administrator a pretty important one!

As the People Administrator you will provide support with all administrative tasks for the Butlins People Team. There will be buckets full of opportunity to stamp your mark and make a difference to how we do things not only across our support function in Hemel but also across our three resorts.

You will be responsible for:

Provide a great experience for our team so they can deliver one to our guests

Supporting our recruitment activity through the attraction, interviewing and onboarding of all candidates.

Help the potential candidates to find a role at Butlin’s by overseeing our social media communications on Facebook Messenger and LinkedIn

Own our new Hemel team journey to help give new team the best possible start

Help ensure completion of all Safe and Secure training via Learning Hub by tracking and supporting new starters progress

Support our Team Voice Listening programme so all our team can have their say on how we can make Butlin’s a great place to work

Support with the organisation of meetings and events including arranging logistics, accommodation, venues etc.
Implement annual refresher training and maintaining all team records, e.g. updating where team are on long term sick/maternity

Support the People Partners and Leaders by taking notes at investigatory meetings, this could involve travel to resorts.

Provide data and insight to support our People team and Butlin’s leaders with business processes e.g. compliance training and key business updates

Prepare presentations and information for Leadership/People meetings

Help us shine a spotlight on our Long Service Awards winners

Support the organisation of the Hemel floor ad-hoc events e.g. Christmas party, lunch and activities

We are looking for:

Essential:
A ‘get stuck in’ kind of attitude

Ability to effectively challenge and report any concerns regarding procedures not being followed

Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements

Good people process knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with budgets

Always operate with discretion and confidentiality 

Desirable:
Previous people administration experience in a hospitality business.
