Purpose of the Role:
Working as a Restaurant Manager in Guest Catering you will oversee one of five restaurants for our half board guests. Reporting to the Guest Catering Manager, the Restaurant Managers’ key role is delivering sales and service superiority to our guests. Your role will require you to lead, maintain and continually improve all areas of operation ensuring we exceed in delivering service expectation and standards to all our guests. You will have a great working knowledge of the restaurant floor, the kitchen and food product knowledge. You will manage and maintain an effective team environment at all times, take financial accountability and ensure that all Liquor and Health & Safety legislation is adhered to at all times, as required. The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in the recruitment and training of new team and will have personal and department KPIs to measure their performance.

Build relationships with guest to enhance their experience and encourage the team to do the same.
Demonstrate empathy by stepping into their shoes to see the restaurant from others’ point of view.
Take responsibility for seamless delivery of the guest experience.
Develop innovate solutions to improve guest experience.
Utilise guest feedback from TI programmes to improve the operation to enhance guest experience.
Shows good knowledge of their own area of the business.
Shares best practice within their team.
Delivers results by making sound business decisions and adding value to guest and team experience.
Manage stock order, control and rotation in line with the Company auditable process.
Manage the Restaurant P&L and all financial controls including labour budget.
Previous experience in a similar role where you have led a team is essential.
Previous experience in a similar catering environment is essential.
Basic Food Hygiene is essential, Intermediate Food Hygiene is desirable.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Passion about people both delivering exceptional customer service and an exceptional working environment.
A problem-solving attitude and be keen to learn.
