Head Chef - Butlin's

The purpose of the role:

•To create an environment where our teams can perform at their very best
•Work closely with the catering leaders to recruit and retain new team to Butlin's
•To support the 90 day induction process for all new team seeking a career within our Business
•Work with the catering leaders to implement and maintain a structured training and development program for our  teams
•Provide feedback and identify development and training needs through the company appraisal process
•Make recommendations so that the teams have the appropriate resources to deliver the required tasks
•Identify areas for improvements within the kitchen through having a good understanding of sales and costs data  and make recommendations around significant opportunities and risks to the business
•Develop the teams knowledge so that they are able to maximise the food cost controls through effective use of  stock management systems and procedures. 
•Control Food Production levels in line within food cost Budgets 
•Maintain a safe, secure and appealing environment by ensuring compliance to company policy for Health, Safety  & Hygiene, as well as all other aspects of relevant legislation.
•Analyse guest feedback to measure performance and create action plans with the team to improve performance and  guest experience within the venue

We are looking for candidates who:

Have experience in a similar, high volume role and environment
Hold an intermediate food hygiene certificate
Have a flexible approach to working hours, as shifts including evenings, weekends and split shifts
Are passionate to share their skills and help the team deliver exceptional food quality and service
