We are looking for chefs to join our busy catering team. Our kitchens vary in size - some have up to 10 chefs who cook to order for all our self-catering guests and day visitors. Our large half board restaurants serve breakfast and evening meals to up to 1800 guests daily. We also have a range of retail restaurants from traditional pub style to BBQ flame grilled to Italian.
The purpose of the role:
•You will be assisting in the smooth, safe, hygienic running of the kitchen and in the production and presentation of food, ensuring the team deliver a dining experience that our guests will value and remember
•You will work in a high performing, fast paced volume catering environment aiming to exceed our guest's dining needs and expectations
•You will prepare ingredients, cook meals and plate dishes from a set menu based on standardised recipes and specifications
We are looking for someone with:
•Previous experience in a similar high paced kitchen environment
•Ideally hold Level 2 Food Safety
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•An enthusiasm to deliver a fantastic dining experience to all our guests
